Being able to tap into the strong demand from both owner-occupied and investor buyers, rehabbing multi-family dwellings continue to be a solid real estate investment; and, even though prices on these distressed properties have spiked over the last few years, so did their resale price after the project completion.

In addition, lenders will consider the income generated by these properties when approving a loan and, with rent prices drastically increasing, more buyers can qualify in spite of the rising interest rates; therefore, making these assets less vulnerable to market fluctuations.
